magPeople is a 6 years old company and has gone through quite some changes throughout the past couple of years.
It all began in 2006 where magPeople, to underline the innovative idea behind the company, was placed in one of the most innovative environments in Denmark – namely the IT-City Katrinebjerg in Aarhus.
In 2008, the publishing platform CAOS was developed. The major Scandinavian publisher Bonnier was one of the first to use this platform, and signed a contract, first in Denmark and later in Sweden for all of their titles to use CAOS.
After 5 years in the market and a long process, CCI Magazine changed it’s name to magPeople. The name change was part of a dynamic change process, where magPeople was found to be more in line with the values and business idea of the company.
Today magPeople software are used in magazine productions all over the world, from Bonnier in Scandinavia to the US.
CCI Magazine went through a rebranded as magPeople.
CCI Magazine takes over the future development of the Digital Magazine Platform Mag+. The Mag+ platform was in conceptual form developed by Bonnier and BERG. The purpose of CCI Magazine taking over the project was to take it from concept to scalable solution.
CCI Magazine is now represented in Stockholm.
Bonnier Tidskrifter signs a contract for the use of the publishing concept CAOS on all their magazine titles.
Bonnier Publications signs a contract for the use of the publishing concept CAOS on all their magazine titles.
Aller Magazine starts using magPeople software on their high profil titles ELLE and Cafe, as well as the rest of their titles.
Benjamin Media signs a contact for the use of CAOS on all their titles.
CCI Magazine sets up an office in Copenhagen.
CCI Magazine moves to the Stibo Group headquarters at Axel Kiers Vej in Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark.
As a part of the founding of CCI Magazine, Knowbody is bought and becomes a department under CCI Magazine.
CCI Magazine was founded in february 2006 as a subsidiary of Stibo A/S.
